Main Upgrades from the Previous Year


There are six trims available: Sport, North, Altitude, Limited (RED Edition), and Trailhawk. This lineup comes with an upgraded engine, with best-in-class horsepower and torque capacity, at 200 hp and 221 ft-lb, respectively. The Active Drive 4x4 system is standard for all models. The LED lighting technology has been improved, and all models come with LED projector headlamps. There are also two new colours for the RED Edition: billet silver and diamond black.

Interior Layout and Options


This compact SUV has more than enough space for all five passengers. All models have a lot of legroom, shoulder space, and high-end upholstery. RED models come with leather-trimmed bucket seats and red mirror caps. There are two interior colours available: black and a black-and-steel-grey combination.

Exterior Layout and Options


There are seven exterior colours available for the Compass. The North and Sport trims come with 17-inch wheels standard, while the Trailhawk has gloss black painted wheels. The RED model comes with 19-inch painted wheels, along with body-coloured lower cladding and roof and also the exclusive RED badging.

Technology, Infotainment, and Connectivity


The new Compass has a Uconnect 5 infotainment system, one of the most advanced options in the market. It has a 10.1-inch touchscreen display and a 10.25-inch frameless digital cluster. All trims have mobile compatibility, operating with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Safety and Driver-Assistant Features


There are over 80 standard safety features for all trims, meaning the new Compass is also among the safest in class. New safety features include drowsy driver detection, forward collision warning on full speed (equipped with active braking), hill-descent control, active lane management, pedestrian/cyclist automatic braking, security alarm, and rear seat reminder alert.
